The APSET application form 2024 was released on February 14, 2024. Candidates could submit the APSET applications 2024 with a late fee of INR 2,000 till March 25, 2024. Applicants can carry out the APSET registration 2024 till April 5, 2024, with a late INR 5,000. The APSET last date 2024 to fill out the online application form without a late fee was March 14, 2024.

No, there is no negative marking in the APSET exam. In the APSET exam, Paper 1 and Paper 2 combinedly contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 comprises 50 questions of 100 marks and Paper 2 comprises 100 MCQs of 200 marks. Each question is of 2 marks. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers or unattempted questions in the APSET exam.

No, APSET is not a recruitment exam, it is an eligibility exam. Candidates who clear the APSET exam become eligible to apply for the recruitment of Assistant Professors or Lecturers in the colleges and universities of Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh SET exam only determines the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professors or Lecturers.

The Andhra Pradesh SET exam was conducted for 30 subjects. The APSET Paper 1 is common for all and for Paper 2, candidates need to choose a subject from the list of 30 subjects. The APSET Paper 1 is of 100 marks and Paper 2 is of 200 marks.
