Each section carries equal weightage, and candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the PSTET exam. The exam is conducted fora duration of 2.5 hours, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The MH SET exam is taken for candidates who are interested in Ph.D research and teaching as Assistant professor in colleges and universities in India. However, there are other career opportunities other than being Assistant Professor or a Research Scholar. The marking scheme of PSTET 2024 exam is as follows :-The PSTET exam consists of multiple-choice questions, where each question carries one mark.There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, which means that candidates do not lose marks for wrong answers.The PSTET exam has a total of 150 questions, and the maximum marks that can be scored are 150.To qualify the PSTET exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 60% marks, which means that they need to score at least 90 marks out of 150.It is important to note that the PSTET exam is conducted in two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The marking scheme for both papers is the same, with each paper consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions and carrying a maximum of 150 marks. However, the content of the two papers is different, and candidates need to appear for the paper that is relevant to their desired teaching level.
