The M.Ed. course is usually two years long and is taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, and field visits. Students earn credits for each course, with one credit in a theory course equivalent to one hour of teaching.

M.Ed Science Education and M.Ed Special Education, Both the degrees are quite different. The Masters in Science education focuses on education and the hard sciences, like biology. The one in special education focuses on education and students with special needs including students identified as Special.
