Though the present name of TU Berlin was established in 1946, but its history goes past institutions such as the Mining Academy, the Building Academy, and the Vocational Academy that were founded in 1770, 1779, and 1821 respectively. In the year 1879, the latter two united to form the Royal Technical College and were joined later by the Mining Academy. Finally, in 1946, the former Technical College Berlin – Charlottenburg in the British Military Sector of Berlin was re-established as the Technical University of Berlin.

TU Berlin admission requirements for MS in CS course are given below:A first university degree that qualifies for a profession and that has been obtained in a course of study in the subject area of Computer Science or a similar, related study. The course of study must include at least these parts: Theoretical Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT, Methodological and Practical Computer ScienceEnglish language proficiency in relevance to the B2 level

There is no tuition fee at the Technical University of Berlin. However, the exception to this condition is applicable to Continuing Education master’s programs. On top of this, students are required to pay the cost of living expenses. It is expected that per month €1,200 could be required to pay the living expenses.
