The quality of food within the hostel mess at the Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Centre was mixed. Although many found the food generally sufficient, various healthy options also existed within the mess; however, some students raise issues on inconsistent taste, suggesting that their meals were "okay" most days and sometimes even reduce their appetite. Indeed, for the 2024–2025 academic year Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT), Barabanki is accepting applications. The institute is taking applications for several undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Tech, Diploma, ITI and PG Diploma degrees. Depending on the curriculum admission is determined by the institutes entrance exams or by merit.The cost of the application is between INR 1,000 and 2,500.
