Although the information on some of the prominent alumni from University Institute of Technology (UIT), Burdwan, may be scarce, it must be said that the institute is relatively new. There is no specific application for UIT Burdwan for B.E. / B.Tech. Admission is made based on the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). Here is the procedure to apply.Target December: WBJEE application announcements are normally found in December.Take WBJEE: Registration followed by WBJEE test.Score Well: Be in a good rank to get better opportunities. Participate in WBJEE Counselling (April), and choose UIT Burdwan for your course preferences.Selection: Report for document verification and fee deposit at UIT Burdwan.Remember, WBJEE is the key. Every year, the cutoff for admitting students to University Institute of Technology, Burdwan depends on factors such as the number of applicants in a particular year, WBJEE exam difficulty, and the number of available seats.You can download and check the previous year cutoff from websites like Shiksha . But it will be better to wait till the official cutoff is out along with the result of counselling taken out by WBJEE.

To join University Institute of Technology (UIT), Burdwan for B.E./B.Tech, applicants have to:Attend WBJEE: It is the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Applications are generally released in December.Qualify WBJEE : Get good rank in WBJEE.Attend WBJEE Counselling: It is usually in April. Select UIT Burdwan at counselling.Document Verification & Fee Payment: If selected, attend document verification and pay the required fees.And don't forget, there is no direct admission or management quota. So, admissions are only based on WBJEE merit.

The admissions for the academic year 2024-25 are closed. Here's a general process of admissions for B.E. / B.Tech at UIT Burdwan:Appears for WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). Applications are usually in December.Qualifies for WBJEE and gets a good rank. The admission is on the basis of WBJEE ranks.Appears for WBJEE counselling (usually April 2025). During counselling, selects UIT Burdwan.Pays counselling fees and attends document verification if selected.There are no management quota seats. Yes, SIT has a mix of experienced and young faculty members across different departments. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders with significant industry experience.
