S J C Institute of Technology has highly qualified faculty members in teaching with more than 5-15 years of experience and many have Ph.D. The faculty is seeking to apply the educational objectives to practices, research and business education. The student-to-faculty ratio is maintained at approximately 15:1, receiving personal care. Despite having positive remarks regarding the quality of the teaching done most of the students pointed out that the institution should increase the incorporation of the use of modern methods of teaching.

The required documents for the B.E./B.Tech application process at S J C Institute includes:1. Mark sheets of 10th and 12th class both the original and copy.2. These are the Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate.3. KCET/COMEDK exam mark sheet.4. Caste and Income Certificates.5. Photos – passport size and (4- 6 photos).6. More details on the qualification of S J C Institute of Technology cutoff marks depend on the course and category. Karnataka CET, for B.Tech admissions, the ranks range from 10,000 to 40,000 depending on the choices of the branch whereas the computer Science branch ISAT is the higher side calling for ranks between 13,000 - 16,000. The COMEDK ranks normally lie within the range of 15000- 50000. Such cutoffs depend on factors such as several seats in a given academic year, choices of various branches and the number of students applying each year.

Indeed they do, S J C Institute of Technology, it is possible to directly join the college under the management quota in the few seats that are available for this kind of admission. Engineering courses present the simplest eligibility criterion that lays down that candidates must have at least 45% mark in their 10+2 (PCM) examination. Management quota fees are higher than those who get admitted through KCET or COMEDK tests or entrance. It is done as and when there is a space for a learner and when all the set principles of the college are followed.

S J C Institute of Technology has well-maintained infrastructure facilities consisting of a library with above 70,000 books, Computerized laboratories and Wi-fi enabled classrooms. The campus also includes hostels for a population of about 1200 students, sports facilities and a special centre for innovations. Furthermore, the cafeteria, health care services and seminar halls are conductive environments for both learning and co-curricular practices. Though some minor changes may still be expected from the students themselves, some of them opine that sports and hostel amenities may be enhanced further on.

Apparently, the highest pay offered at S J C Institute of Technology was found to be roughly Rs. 22 LPA. This offer was possible when students are placed in some of the popular organizations like Amazon and the other leading IT organizations.
