BP Poddar Institute is a decent Institute for pursuing BCA. The rankings and reputation of the Institute is good in its area, placement packages are also decent. Properly equipped computer labs are there for BCA and IT students. The faculty members and infrastructure are averagely rated by the students. The total tution fees for this course is INR 2.67 lacs. So, with this fees structure, you can get a decent return on your fees invested. This Institute is overall decent for not only BCA, but for other courses also.

Both the institutes offer good placement packages and have a decent placement record, but if we compare both of these, Bengal Institute is slightly better in terms of placements. This is because of following reasons:-The highest package offered at Bengal Institute was around INR 12 LPA and at BP Poddar Institute was INR 9.5 LPA. The lowest package offered at Bengal Institute and BP Poddar Institute was INR 3 LPA and INR 2.16 LPA respectively. Bengal Institute is only a engineering Institute, and thus they are more focused in the same feild. As per the latest information available, BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology is considered as a Tier 2 Institute. The ranking of the Institute are good, but cannot be considered in the top Institutes. It was ranked 87in India for B.Tech by IIRF and 201 out of 300 in India and 8 th in west Bengal by NIRF. This institute is accredited by AICTE and offer wide range of courses like MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech etc. This institute has a strong reputation in its area but it's rankings and other factors doesn't support it to be a tier 1 institute.
