KPRIET stands for KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and it is among the Tier II Technical Colleges. Although it has a good image, fairly adequate physical facilities, and adequate number of faculty and campus placements, the college is not among the best. Generally tier 1 colleges and universities comprise of IITs, NITs along with the prominent private colleges. KPRIET is a preferable institution for the students who want to get the engineering education of rather high quality located in the Coimbatore region. Locally, it may be considered excellent, meaning that it will provide a good learning experience to the students.
