To gain entry to DPG Institute of Technology and Management for M.Tech, it is necessary to have a good GATE score. Even if the institute does not specify a particular cutoff, above 400 can increase the chances of admission. However, you may have to obtain above 500 in order to be on the competitive side especially for the top branches such as Computer Science or Electronics and Communication. A comparative analysis of the placement trends of DPG Institute of Technology and Management as well as Droncaharya College of Engineering reveals that;Although both colleges have decent records of placements, it seems that DPG Institute of Technology and Management has the slightest advantage. In the most recent academic year, 100% placement rate was attained at DPG Institute which attracted top recruiters such as Infosys, TCS and IBM offering an average package of INR 2-3.5 LPA upto a the highest package of INR 12 LPA.
