They have to pass their Higher Secondary Certificate with at least 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject. They also need to qualify in relevant entrance exams such as JEE Main or state-level engineering tests.Online through the official website of the institute is how to submit the application. After completing the application form, attaching all required documents, entrance scores will be considered for selecting the candidates for counseling rounds wherein they can choose courses that they would like. The admission gets confirmed by paying the fees applicable at the time of admission.

Eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech courses offered at Somany (PG) Institute of Technology and Management is completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent examination.Aggregate marks should be minimum 50% in the subjects, Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject out of Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.
