VESIT has instituted scholarships to help students who are meritorious and are economically weakStudents Aid Scholarship :The criteria for this scholarship is that the student should have a score of at least 7.00 grade and family income of less than one Lacs per annum. Scholarships of Rupees Fifteen thousand each are given to 25-30 students across all departments every year.Vivekanand Jyoti Scholarship :One meritorious student from each department is given this scholarship. An Amount of Rupees Twenty five thousand each is given every year. The criteria is a grade point of at least 7.00 and family Income of less than one Lacs per annum.

Quality of hostel  food at Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology is above average based on the college reviews , some say food is good, some say some times it's really bad . Most of the reviews are positive. They serve both veg and non veg food.  And has a good menu .And hostel mess staffs also ensures  hygiene. Serve and provide hygiene food.

The VESIT Mumbai has separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls, cafe   , Gym , lab Alumni Associations, Auditorium, the college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students, the College library boasts more than 47,500 books and journals at the national and international level, journals,   magazine etc. A multi-purpose ground for outdoor events like Football, Cricket, Throwball, Dodgeball, Hand ball, 6-lane 200 m track for Athletics, Volleyball court,    Kabaddi court, Basketball court with red soil.  Long jump facility, A Gymkhana for indoor sports like Carom, Table tennis

YES!VIVEKANAND EDUCATION SOCIETY'S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY  has a very active  placement cell, Information about the company profile, job profile, Eligibility criteria, Salary, Branches applicable and any another information given by company are forwarded to all students along with a registration form with the dates of the drive. The placements are average and range from 8 to 10 LPA. Various famous companies like JP Morgan Chase, Accenture, Barclays, etc. visit the campus for the placement of students.
