 Students are not allowed to miss their examination without any appropriate reason . They may be allowed to retake their examination only after submitting their application with a valid reason of their absence. But skipping any examination may result in reduction of the students internal marks . And the marks once finalized cannot be changed 

The institute hostel fees is around 2 lakhs.The institute provide quality hostel service which are easily accessible to the students. It also provides various other facilities in the hostel like laundary facility, filtered drinking water, tv rooms, indoor gaming rooms, attached bathrooms with all rooms  with refrigerator. Additionally facilities are : Computer rooms Rooftop cafeteriaSeminar hall 

As it is a private institution, NMIMS has never used management quotas, caste restrictions or any other forms of reservations. It being a private institution is governed by trustees and decisions about the enhanment of the university's reputation would be decided by the institute trust members.

The university also organises faculty development programme and also organises industrial visits for their students to enhance their practticle knowledge
