Indian telecommunication industry is matured and has total of employment potentials because of its growth and changing technologies. MBA (Telecom) course is designed to provide mix of management and telecom technology knowledge and skills to have career in telecommunication industry.
The course is designed and well suited for electronics engineers. It is niche sector specific specialization of MBA, therefore job opportunities are lesser in comparison to marketing, HR, finance, etc. Experienced telecom professionals have potential for job abroad.

There are various PSUs and government companies in which electronic and telecommunication engineering jobs are offered. Some of them are BEL, DRDO, BARC, Indian Railways, Meteorological Dept, AAI, DMRC, etc. In order to get a job in most of these, you have to appear and clear the GATE exam. ISRO, DRDO, and BARC have separate exams for them. There are other PSUs too which require GATE exam.

After BE in telecommunication, the best option would be to prepare for GATE well so that you can get a good job in some PSU through GATE or if you are getting software job then join it because it is a best career option. If you want career in telecommunication only then prepare for GATE exam well and clear it. It depends on your career goals and interest.

France does offer good MBA programs at low cost. However, local language is very important if you intend to work there. Post completion of the program, you will get one year time to stay there.
