East Tennessee State University is a member of the NCAA Division I in all sports except football, which is Division 1-AA. Intercollegiate and intramurals sports programs are available at the university. The sports for men are basketball, baseball, cross-country, football, golf, tennis, etc. Whereas, sports for women are cross-country, basketball, golf, tennis, etc.

MTSU is located in Tennessee state and in the city of Murfreesboro. This city is situated approximately 30 minutes from Nashville, the Tennessee State capital. Nashville has the closest commercial airport; Nashville International Airport. This city is one of the largest cities in the US and is home to BNA airport.

Middle Tennessee State University in the Murfreesboro city. This city is located approximately 30 minutes from Nashville. It is home to more than 120,000 people. While studying at MTSU, students can enjoy their campus life to the fullest as the university has various student organizations, health services, counselling services, etc.
