Hello Atharva, I can understand your anxiety for getting CSE as branch in engineering College. Unfortunately almost every student gives this branch as his first choice. This results in very high cutoff for this branch. However if you are interested in admission only in this branch, then you need to pursue different path. Deemed to be universities, private engineering colleges. Here you may get admission. But you need to approach them individually since no information is available in the public domain. For Diploma holders and BSc holders, AICTE has permitted to enter into engineering degree programme through lateral entry directly into second year. These admissions are based on Diploma marks and completely handled by Maharashtra State CET cell. Normally intake capacity is 10% of First Year intake capacity. So you have to apply through the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State website.
