Doing two work at the same time is not an easy task.
If you have the capacity to do hard work, then you can go for it. The competition level is really high in competitive Exams, so you have to pay good attention to exam preparations.
Yes, if you do MBA, you can still prepare for competitive exams, just make at-least 2-3 hours' time every day and practice previous year's question papers. It is the key to success.
You can get all previous year question papers of SSC CGL, IBPS PO and other competitive exams on exam preparation sites.

I am very delighted to hear that you are in 1st year of your B.Com and you have started preparing for MBA, I mean that's to what we call a spirit to achieve highest score possible.
You can start with basic mathematics like from class 6-12th start preparing for that and once you are done then test your skills in English and most importantly, start reading newspapers as they will help you the most for gaining general knowledge.
