First of all, clear all basic concepts regarding particular subject.
Solve previous year Q paper.
There are different M.Sc Entrance exams like, IIT, JAM, TIFR, GS, Pune University exam etc., which you can apply.
There are some online tutorials like: -chem academy, Edu Rev etc. This will help you a lot.

This year, the IPM entrance exam has 3 sections- A multiple-choice Quantitative Ability (40 qns, 40 min), a short answer Quant section (20 qns, 40 min) and a Verbal Ability section (40 qns, 40 min). You need to dedicate good 6-7 hours per day to learn and understand the concepts. Once you are done with concepts, start giving mock tests. Give as many mock tests as you can so that you know what's your preparation level and how much more you need to prepare. Most of all, dedication and commitment towards studies are required.

Hi Nikita, Students new to paper pattern can take up to a year or more, but the ones with a bit background or knowledge can grasp the concept overall in 6 to 8 months. There are students who study from years and still can't make to Iims and even the fresher crack the admission process with less training. You need passion and determination.
