This year, the IPM entrance exam has 3 sections- A multiple-choice Quantitative Ability (40 qns, 40 min), a short answer Quant section (20 qns, 40 min) and a Verbal Ability section (40 qns, 40 min). You get 4 marks for a correct answer and one negative mark for a wrong one. As the quant section is based on Maths you learn at higher secondary level, you are likely to be familiar with the theory. Accuracy, time management, the ability to choose the right questions to answer, the ability to look out for the catch in the question, the ability to eliminate wrong choices to choose the right answerthese are some skills you need to hone to become exam-ready. Focus on practicing as many section-wise tests and mock quizzes as possible. Concentrate on some specific topics like Permutations & Combinations, Functions, Number Systems, Polynomials and Inequalities. The verbal section has questions such as para jumbles, reading comprehension, identifying a missing sentence in a paragraph and vocabulary-based questions. To do well in the written ability test and to get interview-ready, make sure you read the newspaper everyday, so that you are well informed on the hot topics of the day.

2. Practice more and more questions. The study material you are using must have the adequate amount of questions to practice.
3. Solve the previous year's question papers. Suppose you are solving the latest paper of the year 2018. Try to solve the paper without any help and then check your answers through the IIT JAM 2018 Answer Key. Do the same procedure with the other papers on every weekend.
4. Get help from some teacher and expert in case of any doubt. Never feel hesitate in asking questions.
5. Prepare a good timetable and follow it without fail. If you can follow these steps, you can easily crack the exam.

See, NEET is for 720 marks, in that Biology is for 360 marks, physics is for 180 and chemistry is for 180. If you prepare best for biology and chemistry, then you will score at least 540 in your NEET exam. So, to prepare for Physics, follow below preparation tips:
