Yes, the course aspirants have to take the entrance test conducted by PSGIAS. The details about the exam are shared with the students over mail. Moreover, students with a very good academic record are exempted from the exam. Such students are admitted or issued selection letter directly without taking the test. Apart from this, it is crucial that the applicant meet the minimum requirement, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent pass from CBSE or Tamil Nadu Government examinations.

The University of Wyoming accepts the Duolingo test for undergraduate and graduate courses. Dr. YSP University conducts entrance exams for admission to the regular seats, which is applicable only for the Himachal Pradesh's domicile candidates. As for the self-finance seats, entrance exam is not required. Candidates only requires a valid qualification i.e., Class 12 with 50% aggregate in English, Chemistry, Biology, etc., from a recognised university.
