The AJEE is a computer-based test, also known as an online test. The exam was conducted only in online mode at various exam centres. AJEE exam is of two hours duration wherein candidates need to attempt multiple choice questions. To get admission to most programmes at AISECT University, candidates are assessed on a scale of 100 marks. For admission to the LLM course, candidates are required to participate in an interview round following their successful completion of AJEE 2023.

The university has not released the cut off list of entrance test scores for Prof. Rajendra Singh University (Formerly Allahabad State University).
