Typing test is not mentioned compulsory for the SSC MTS exam. The Commission prescribes the following physical requirements for the SSC MTS exam. The Commission conducts the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) after the conduction of Paper 2. The candidates who opted for the Havaldar post are required to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Both the PET/PST and DME are conducted by a designated authority other than the SSC. The Commission prescribes the following requirements for the SSC MTS PET/PST. Walking and cycling are some of the skills required for few selected posts.

The entrance exam is moderate. The English section was very easy. I would suggest practicing compound interest, simple interest and probability for the quants section since my paper had questions mostly from these. All the mock tests are good as they only help in giving you more and more practice. However, while attempting the APEdCET mock tests candidates are advised to first check the official website for the most authentic and subject wise mock tests as they are free. Once studnts are well versed with the free mock tests and have enough confidence, they can move ahead to the paid versions provided by many coaching institutes or online portals.

Yes it is completely fine to get low marks in the mock tests. The mock tests are created with the perspective to make you an expert by continued practising. They are for trials and to gain confidence so if you are getting less marks in the tests it doesn't mean its your final marks and you can anytime practice and get higher marks in the main exam.

To get the mock tests for free candidates are advised to visit the official website of APEdCET and on the homepage they must click on the tab titled "Mock Test". After clicking on the tab they will be re-directed to the login page where they can login and start practising their mock tests online.
