Yes, you can become a fashion designer after completing tetile designing course. Textile design teaches you the fundamentals of designing materials, patterns and prints. You can use this knowledge in fashion designing. Many people who are now fashion designers started their careers as textile designers . You should note that becoming a successful fashion designer often necessitates a combination of education, experience, and a distinct fashion perspective. Also remember that competition in the fashion sector is high, and breaking into it can be difficult. But it is totally your choice. Hope this helps!

Don’t worry if you have scored less marks in Class 12. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the programme is a 10+2 pass in any discipline. Some colleges may also insist on a minimum mark, which may be anything from 50% aggregate marks and upwards. However, colleges ask for 45% aggregate marks if the students are from SC/ ST/ OBC category. Aspirants from any stream,  Humanities/ Commerce/ Science are eligible to pursue a course in Textile Design.If you are interested in learning Textile Designing then you can also pursue Textile Design Online Courses.

Students who meet the required eligibility criteria should pursue Textile Design course. People who are good at drawing, and keep a keen eye on fashion trends and come up with new ideas are best suited for this programme. Candidates who are creative, perceptive, and have an eye for detail should consider taking design classes.Students can choose a course and specialism based on their qualifications and areas of interest. Students can pursue this course after class 12 and pursue MDes and other courses for further specialisation.
