Hello Puran, firstly heartiest congratulations to your friend who has obtained a percentile of 99.98 in JEE Mains. With this percentile, your friend can get admission in the branch of his desire in any NIT that he desires. A matter of fact If he has scored so much then he must appear for JEE Advanced and I am sure he will score is equally well and then can get into any of the IIT. Best wishes to you.

Hello,
VJTI does not offer any distance degree or Diploma course in Engineering. Hence, a Diploma in Textile engineering is not available at VJTI. Further, distance engineering Diploma or degree courses are not valid as per AICTE guidelines

This is a good option as Textile manufacturing is a major industry. It is based on the conversion of fibre into yarn, yarn into fabric. These are then D.Ed or printed, fabricated into clothes. Different types of fibres are used to produce yarn. Cotton remains the most important natural fibre, so is treated in depth. Best of luck.

Textile Engineering has attracted nearly best placements. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 12 LPA. Some top Organizations like Siemens, ABB, Ultratech Cement, Asitya Birla Cellulose, Raymonds, Pantaloons, Bharat Forge, Hindustan Copper, Aditya Birla, Reliance Oil and Gas, etc. And numerous others come to campus. The percentage rate is almost 95% for textile engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month, although Textile students get only about 20,000.
