Admission is via counseling. All are offline except in certain programs like engineering where All India Quota is via Central Counselling.

It depends on the program you want to join. All except MBA and Engineering ones you need to appear for university's entrance. For these 2 national scores are also accepted except in B.Tech where only JEE main. Moreover there is Northeast quota too in some programs.

IIT needs JEE Advanced & IIIT needs JEE Mains scores. Both have different prospects so are the ranks required. For JEE Advanced, you need less than 7-8K CRL, but for IIIT, your chance is nearly nil at 25K.
