Thapar University offers MBA programmes via the LM Thapar School of Management. During the 2022 final placements drive of LM Thapar School of Management for the MBA course, the median package offered was INR 6.50 LPA. The institute has not disclosed the complete statistics for the placement drive 2023. As per the limited official data available, a total of 169 students got placement offers from top MNCs such as Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc.

Yes, the Deemed-to-be University offers several merit and merit-cum-means basis scholarships. These scholarships are available for the students of BE/BTech, LEET, MSc and MCA courses. Thapar University MCA fee is INR 2.55 lakh. The fee mentioned here is the total tuition fee and is taken from an unofficial source. Hence, the actual amount may vary. Apart from the mentioned tuition fee, candidates are also required to pay a one-time fee of INR 23,000, including admission fee and institute security fee. Candidates applying for the MCA course must pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500.

Thapar University offers a two-year full-time MCA course at the postgraduate level. To be eligible for Thapar University MCA admission, candidates must have a Bachelors degree of a minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate. For TIET MCA admission, it is also mandatory that a student must have studied Mathematics at Class 12 level or at the graduation level. Candidates seeking admission must apply online before its last date. To be eligible for Thapar University MBA admission, students are required to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA or corresponding grade secured from a recognised University/Institute. Thapar University offers four-year BE/BTech courses at the undergraduate level, candidates seeking admission to TIET Patiala must visit the official website of the University to apply online. Yes, TIET considers Class 12 marks for admission to the BE/BTech courses along with valid JEE Main scores. Based on the marks secured in the entrance exam, a merit list is prepared.
