Hi,

Hi, you need to register online at www.thapar.edu for admissions. Also, if you are applying for B.Tech/BE the JEE Mains scores are also required for admissions. If you are applying for B.Tech in Bio Technology, then you need to score well in NEET. TIET admissions are going on, you can check their website for more information- www.thapar.edu.

Yes, they do get placed abroad. According to a recent social media post that I came across in FB page of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, their students got placed in University of Malta, KPMG, Crimsonwing, etc. Their placement are global just like their teaching pedagogy.

Hi,
I can't be specific about this particular specialisation but overall BE/B.Tech placement is 89%, Rs. 40.00 lacs. P. a. the highest salary package that was being offered and average Rs. 5.93 lacs p. a. salary package that is offered. The number of companies that visit is 231 that includes some big names in the industry like HCL, Hyundai, etc.

Following are the criteria for admissions in TIET for CSE:
1. The candidate has to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject or Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in a Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3-year duration.
