Most of good IT companies in NCR hire fresher through Campus placement. You are advised to appear for campus placement in NCR based IT companies such as HCL-T, Dell, NIIT Tech etc to seek job in NCR region.

It depends on the number of seats, but you can if you get 30000 all India rank.

The placement are ranging from an average of 4.5 to max of 9.6 lacs per anaum .
But frankly speaking there arent many companies regaring technical but if you wish to change to non technical then there are a lot of options and the packeges goes as high as 18-22 lacs p.a
The labs are very good and all the equipments are there in the campus. Biotech dept at thapar has a lot of funding and there wont be any complaint on the part of the equitments and intruments . if you want a list of all the equipment would be glad to provide it too.
The faculties are very good. Little strict but that is nessesary and there are all the PhD students that help

Hi,
If you wish to pursue M.Tech after B.Tech then Thapar University would be the best. You can also opt for IIIT - Bhubaneswar.

Last year there wasn't a cut off . As they recently shifted to AIPMT exams for admissions. Last year you needed to have 20% marks to get in. If you need any further guidance you can call me or any of my junior .

If you are not keen interested in computer languages, I don't recommend B.Tech in CSE because in today's world there is a huge crowd of students in CSE and in near future there will be very tough competition in IT field.
If you like computer science, then Thapar is a good choice.
