Yes, there is a special provision for candidates from Nagaland state. 25% of the total seats for all programmes are reserved for candidates having Nagaland domicile. If any seats remain vacant under the above-mentioned criteria, they are filled up by the students from Open category.

 Candidates seeking admission to PhD must have a master’s degree in the relevant stream with 55% aggregate from a recognised University. Reserved category students (SC, ST and differently-abled), however, need a minimum of 50% aggregate to become eligible.

 No, selection to all the courses takes place on the basis of the application screening followed by an interview. However, the University prefers candidates who’ve cleared UGC-NET/ JRF for admission to MPhil and UGC-NET/ JRF/MPhil for admission to PhD programme.
