The Lords Universal College of Education

The Lord’s Universal College of Education (LUCE), located in Mumbai was established in 2008 and is the constituent unit of the Universal Education founded by Shri Sudhir Madhavji Lall in 1968. Later, his son, Shri Jesus Lall took over the leadership of the Universal Education and ensured its growth. It is a private institute, affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is recognised by NCTE. Further, the LUCE is approved by the Government of Maharashtra and offer programmes in the stream of Teaching & Education, approved by the NCTE. Additionally, the institute is run by the management of the Vidya Vikas Education Trust and offers only 1 programme at the UG level, i.e. Bachelor of Education (BEd).
