For the University of Chicago admissions, the applicants are required to submit English language proficiency score. In the case of graduate admissions, the minimum required scores varies as per the programs. The accepted test scores are IELTS / TOEFL  in the case of graduate programs. For a majority of the graduate programs, the overall IELTS score required is 7.0.

Yes, the University of Chicago offer scholarships to international students. Undergraduate students are eligible for Merit Scholarships. The University of Chicago acceptance rate is around 5%. For the undergraduate Class of 2027, the acceptance rate that has been 4.7%. A total of 38,800 applications were submitted to the university and the total number of applications that got accepted were 1,849. Both, the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago are top ranked universities in the USA. UIC is a state school, good at some things and not so good at others.
