To be eligible for Students@Work Internship programme at the University of Melbourne, students must be enrolled at this university for the duration of the internship. UG students can go for internships from the second year onwards, whereas, postgraduate students can start the internship from the first year onwards. Furthermore, students must also be able to commit for internship 10-21 hours.

Part-time work in Australia usually involves regular hours that add up to less than 38 hours per week, with leave benefits calculated depending on the students' time at work.

However if you are looking for acceptance rates than Melbourne University has higher acceptance rate than the latter .
