According to student reviews on an unofficial source, both the universities are top-notch universities. They belong to Group of Eight (Go8) and offers excellent value for education. According to QS world University Rankings, the University of Sydney as well as UNSW rank in the Top 50 Universities in the world. Both the university rank at #19 position in the QS World University Rankings 2024. According to Times Higher Education, Best Universities in Australia 2024 category, the University of Sydney is placed at #3 position and UNSW is placed at #6 the position

The University does not release data about the GPA scores explicitly. However as per some unofficial sources and various student’s opinion available online, average GPA of students being accepted into the university is 3.8 out of 4.
