I do not know about my college or any other central government institute providing any scholarship as such to international students however based on your income you may get a waiver.

My brother is graduated from UT Arlington about 7 years back and from what I know at that time, electrical engineers of UTA specially were favorite and always picked by Sony Ericson which was in Dallas. I am not sure whether it is the same now but I do know one thing that a lot of folks who graduate from UTA in electrical engineering with good credentials ultimately get placed some place or other by some means or other (through a friend or senior). Hope it helps. Be free to share any problem you have.
All the best.

Your GRE score is fine. However, percentage is bit low. Overall, this university is a little ambitious for you.

Dear Akshatha,
The MS program in MIS offered by UTA is a 33 credits programs (non thesis) and therefore can be completed in two years. If you can take 11 credits in one semester then you may complete the program in 1.5 years. Work experience (2 years) is recommended for admissions to this program. In case you are a fresher, the program might be competitive for you. Hope this helps!

Hi Akshatha,
If you check the admission requirements page for the CS department carefully you will come across the following-
'GRE Test: Admitted students typically earn the following scores on the GREGRE quantitative score of at least 155 for MSGRE verbal score of at least 145 for MSA sum of verbal and quantitative GRE scores of at least 300 for MS. So you require a score of 300 and above to be considered.
I hope this answers your query. Good Luck.
