No, Western Sydney University and Western Australia University are not the same universities. Both the Western Sydney University and Western Australia University are public research universities. Western University is a highly-ranked public university which first began its operations in January 1989 being under the terms of the University of Western Sydney Act. The University of Western Australia acceptance rate is 38%. Looking at the acceptance rate, it can be said that the university is quite competitive when it comes to admissions. The applicants with an outstanding academic record of getting admission to the university. Furthermore, the applicants are required to meet the academic and English language proficiency requirements. The general requirements needed at the time of UWA admissions are having a Class 12 qualification for bachelor’s courses. For admission to master’s courses, a bachelor’s degree is required.
