The teachers and students at the Thiagarajar College of Engineering are only given pure vegetarian cuisine. The canteen and mess serve high-quality meals. The mess timings are rigorously observed and food waste would increase the mess bill. The hostel serves good traditional meals and there are no non-vegetarian options in the mess.

Actually HSC board score is not a cut off for getting a seat in COEP. You have to score only 50% plus in boards in order to qualify for getting a seat in any Engg. college.
The main cutoff for COEP or any Engg. college in Mah. for that matter is PCM Score in CET which is objective exam and with highest possible score of 200.
Physics - 50 questions with 1 mark each
Chemistry - 50 questions with 1 mark each
Maths - 50 questions with 2 marks each
( I assume you already know the pattern of CET but i have explained above, just in case someone is unaware of it )
