The maximum duration of TSM Madurai PhD programme is up to five years from the date of registration. However, the research period can be extended after getting prior approval from the University.

TSM Madurai offers a bouquet of electives from multiple streams, including Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations, Business Analytics and Systems. Candidates can choose the preferred area of specialisation. The B-school offers MBA and PGDM programme. The course admission is entrance-based. Shortlisted candidates have to go through the complete selection procedure as well.

No, it is not mandatory or a prerequisite to have work experience for MBA admission at TSM Madurai. However, work experience after graduation is given an additional weightage of 5% while shortlisting students for the course.

TSM Madurai is known for its two-year PGDM programme which is approved by the AICTE, accredited by NBA and considered equivalent at MBA. Apart from its flagship course, Thiagarajar School of Management offers a two-year MBA programme, a two-year Twinning (PGCM + MS) programme in collaboration with University of Michigan, and a PG-DSBA programme affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. The School also offers a PhD programme in both full-time and part-time modes in affiliation with Alagappa University.

TSM’s MBA programme is a Quality Management programme at par with those of AICTE approved B-schools across the country. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU). TSM’s PGDM programme is a high-end Management programme benchmarked entirely on the best of B-schools of India. The programme is approved by AICTE and equivalence with MBA is certified by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). While the fee for PGDM is Rs 10 lakh, MBA aspirants need to pay Rs 9 Lacs as the total fee at TSM Madurai.
