Examination fee will be applicable for every trimester, which varies between Rs. 3500 to Rs. 4000 every trimester. That's the only thing you have to pay extra.

It is free of cost if the expenses for the place where you will be taken to, is within the budget, considering there are 110 odd students. Expenses are accounted on per-head basis. So for us, they charged 3000/- extra. It might not be charged for you.

Yes, I think around Rs. 3000/- to 5000/-, as it is a really expensive trip. You will have some amazing food, and you will stay in a 3-star hotel. It will be once in a lifetime experience, believe me. :) I also forgot to mention that we have Rural Immersion Program in the first year, and that is another trip to look forward to.

Yes, it will be decided by the college mostly, but you may also recommend where you want to go. It might be considered if it is found to be feasible. Education will be in South India only, as the Boot Camp in Madrantakam is visited by every batch. For excursion, you can suggest some places, and ask your friends to do the same.

Yes, you will have two tours. One is an Industrial Visit and Boot Camp, exclusively for PGDM. We were taken to TCS, Siruseri, and Brakes India Ltd, Vellore. The Boot Camp was in Madrantakam, Tamil Nadu, where your teamwork will be tested my Retd. Major Roy, through various events like Rock Climbing, Rappeling, Bridge Building, Obstacle Course etc. It was a very good experience for us, and it will be for you too, I'm sure.
You will also have an excursion, this time both MBA and PGDM. We were taken to Coorg. You will be taken to some other place this time. Enjoy!

Chances are slim, since the MAT score is low. I would advice him to still apply. If he has a reasonably good 10th, 12th and Graduation score, he can be called for GD-PI. If he performs well there, then he might even be selected. Hope for the best.

You being in top 10 doesn't guarantee you the the best job with the best package. Sometimes, it has been seen that students who have got very high grades could only crack a job with an average salary, while students who had arrears got the higest salary. As I have said, it all boils down to how you perform in the interview day. Grades are just an entry ticket for you to apply for the job, as a few companies demand above 7 CGPA, or a student should have no history of arrears, etc. So, getting good grades doesn't guarantee you a good job. It's how you perform in the interview is all that matters. Have a decent CGPA, and you're good to go

College will arrange for your Summer Internship, no worries there. If you have an outside source and wish to get an Internship on your own, you can also do that, by informing the Dean. The company should be reputed, and has to be approved by the college.
