NL Scholarship-General is a joint initiative between the Dutch Govt. and Dutch universities and Tilburg University is proud to be a part of this initiative. Indian citizens can avail this scholarship. They must be admitted to one-year master’s programme at Tilburg University. This scholarship is also applicable for two-year master’s programs, but will be only awarded to the first year of the program. The scholarship amount comprises contribution to living expenses of €10,000. Yes, a few Tilburg University scholarships are offered to international students. These scholarships are NL Scholarship – General, JADS JMJ Scholarship, Research Master Scholarship, Koopmans and CentER, etc. The NL Scholarship – General is aimed for Indian students particularly who have been admitted one-year master’s degree. The amount for this scholarship is €10,000. The Research Master Scholarship is offered to outstanding students admitted to Tilburg Research Master’s program. Yes, international students are allowed to engage in paid employment while studying. Students who are non-EU / EEA or Switzerland can work for a limited number of hours per week and only if the employer has applied for a work permit.
