Getting into TISS Mumbai's MBA programme involves a two-stage process: 1. Entrance Exam (CUET PG):TISS used to conduct its own entrance exam but now it no longer conducts its own entrance exam (TISSNET) and rely on scores from the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET PG).Hence, candidates have to register and take the CUET PG exam following the official guidelines.2. Online Personal Interview (OPI):Shortlisted candidates based on their CUET PG scores areinvited for an Online Personal Interview (OPI).Candidates have to answer questions about thri academic background, work experience (if any), goals, and interest in the specific MBA programme at TISS.

TISS does not provide direct admission for its programmes. Instead, candidates are evaluated through a comprehensive selection process that includes entrance exams, interviews, and/or group discussions. This process assesses candidates based on their academic qualifications, performance in entrance exams, and programme-specific criteria. All applicants are required to meet the eligibility criteria and actively participate in the designated admission procedure. Tata Institute of Social Sciences have announced the TISSNET 2023 cutoff along with the announcement of results. TISS offers M.A. In HRM programme which is equivalent to MBA programme offered by other top B-schools. TISSNET cutoff for M.A. In Human Resource Management (HRM) is 63 marks for general category and 60 for EWS category. Previous year the cutoff for M.A. In HRM was 67 for the general category. Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria were shortlisted for the TISS Online Assessment rounds. Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria does not guarantee admission to the desired programme. Candidates are assessed on various skills and on the basis of the composite score in TISSNET exam and Online Assessment performance they are shortlisted for final admissions. Previously, TISSNET sectional cutoff for General Awareness for revised. The revised cutoff for General, EWS, Kashimiri Migrants and Armed Forces is 12 and for PwD and OBC (NC) is 11. The GA cutoff for SC and ST is not applicable.
