Yes, as per the official website of the deemed-to-be University, it provides 100 percent placements to its PG students. However, the official website also mention that there is no practice followed for the placements at doctoral level, so far.

Yes, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences releases a separate cutoff for the General Awareness section of TISSNET exam. Only candidates who meet the TISSNET exam cutoff and General Awareness cutoff are shortlisted for the Online Assessment rounds- Extempore and Online Personal Interview . Sectional cut-off for General Awareness (GA) is applied for qualifying the TISSNET. Candidates not scoring the minimum cut-off mark for the General Awareness as below will not be qualified for TISSNET irrespective of the aggregate score. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai releases the cut-off list for the Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) program each year. However, for the academic session 2021-22, TISS Mumbai has not released any cut-off list for MHA program, as the admission process was conducted through an online entrance exam followed by a personal interview.

TISSNET MBA Admission 2023: Reservation of seats
TISS will set up a minimum qualifying cutoff for the computer-based test. The qualifying cutoff for SC/ ST category is 35% and for the General/ OBC, it is 45%. In addition, just securing the qualifying cutoff will not guarantee a seat for the course in TISS. The admission will be purely based on the merit list.

TISSNET 2024 first merit list for admission to M.A. Programme is announced soon after the Online Assessment round are conducted. The first merit list is expected to release in third week of May 2024 at admissions.tiss.edu. Candidates who will appear for the TISS selection process will be able to check their admission status in the merit list. Candidates' aggregate score is calculated on the basis of the TISSNET score and performance in Online Assessment rounds. Candidates will be given final weightage on the basis of which the seats will be offered.
