Hi Swanand Kale,
As per the reviews from the people who have appeared for the exam earlier, I have understood that the best way to study for this section is to read as much newspaper as you can. That's the best way to gain knowledge about GK. You may also follow http://yojana.gov.in/ and other government magazines. Also, be updated with one regular and one international newspaper. That's the best way to prepare.

For the GK part, the best option is to follow the cases on newspaper. Following certain trendy cases in recent times and studying its acts and people involved from the roots. Most questions asked from those.
