Overall, its a decent engineering college affiliated to JNTU.
I also recommend you to check Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology,Narayanguda which also offers best teaching and placements.

Candidates must have a B.E / B.Tech Degree or its equivalent from AICTE approved Institutions and a valid GATE score/ PGECET Rank. Sponsored Candidates must have a minimum B.E / B.Tech Degree or its equivalent from AICTE approved Institutions with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a recognized firm/industry / Company / Educational or Research Institution / Any Department of Government / Autonomous organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. minimum rank is you need to get below 50000
So that you can easily get a seat .
The minimum eligibility of the course is to get at least 60% marks in diploma. After the diploma, we need to write an entrance test called TS EAMCET which is conducted by the government every year. Reservation is also taken in seat allotment.The fee structure per year is 70000 and in addition to this, we need to pay 10000 every year as academic fee which includes library fee also. Every year, every semester we get books from book bank which we can return after exams. We can apply for government scholarships. (this comes under management quota)

CMR Technical campus is best for all the branches. The college is good and famous for its placement. According to my knowledge, I think you are going to get a seat with your rank. However, before applying for counseling, go and check on the college website.
