TNEA Dates

TNEA 2025 supplementary counselling will be held in September. For TNEA counselling the applicants are grouped based on their rank and each group of applicants is allowed to participate in counselling according to their turn. TNEA 2025 counselling will have 4 rounds. The applicant has to login into the TNEA portal by using his/her user ID and Password (same as that used at the time of registration) for performing various activities in a particular round. The procedure for each round of counselling is as follows:Publication of eligible applicants: The list of eligible applicants for a particular round will be published in the TNEA portal.Rounds of TNEA 2025 counselling: Counselling will be conducted online in 4 rounds as per the Schedule. Candidates will participate in corresponding rounds based on their rank.Stages of Counselling: Each round has 4 stages: - Choice Filling - Allotment - Confirmation of Allotment - Reporting to College/TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmationProcess followed in each round: In each round, the following procedure will be followed a. Choice filling b. Seat allotment c. Choice confirmation option practice d. Reporting and confirmation of seat.

Final choice should be yours. But here are some points that can guide you. SSN is a self-financing college under Anna University and so the Semester exam corrections ***! Even if you perform well, you will not get a grade as expected by you in the University examinations. There are good students who fail in any exam too and may or may not clear that subject after revaluations. The grades can affect your future job prospects whereas in MIT, which is Anna University, the same subject lecturer or any other professor from the same department will evaluate the papers. And the evaluations are mostly clear and predictive. MIT doesn't lack in infrastructure. It may not be as good-looking and lavish as SSN but still you have everything (like good labs) to learn engineering without any hiccups. In MIT, the quality of teaching may not be good but as a student, you will be well exposed to a dynamic environment where you can self-learn with seniors/peers. Last but the most important, hundreds of companies visit Anna University for placements. Salary packages from top companies have exceeded 20lpa for students. Placements are the best in this college compared to other departments.
