With a score of 170, you will need to take into account the total number of candidates and their scores. TNEA ranks are established by the normalized marks of all applicants. Generally speaking, a score of 170 would be considered competitive, but precise rankings can change every year depending on the distribution of scores among applicants. Higher scores generally translate into better ranks, which are typically in the top percentile. To get a more precise estimate of where your score might land you in relation to other applicants, check the official TNEA website or previous year's cutoffs.

Yes, TNEA is enough for B.Tech admissions in Government College of Technology.Just make sure to complete required eligibility for pursuing B.Tech like passing 10+2 exam with recognised board. Candidate must have scored minimum 55% in their board exams. Also you should score good marks in TNEA to clear cutoff for GCT.

In TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), the ranking is primarily based on the normalized marks obtained in the relevant subjects in your qualifying examination (typically Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering). The exact rank calculation can vary each year based on the total number of candidates and their scores.Since you mentioned scoring 187 out of 200 marks, which is an excellent score, your rank would depend on how this score compares with the scores of other candidates. TNEA doesn't provide a direct rank calculation formula based on marks alone due to the normalization process. Therefore, your actual rank can on

It's not easy to calculate your TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) rank based just on your 12th CBSE scores (160), as TNEA ranks are established by a normalisation method that takes into account all candidates' performance in addition to your 12th marks. The precise ranking is determined by the total number of candidates, their grades, and the authorities' normalisation algorithm, which varies annually. A CBSE score of 160 is typically regarded as normal to above average. You would need to be aware of the whole score distribution and the normalisation process for the TNEA exam given in that specific year in order to obtain a more

Of course, you can take admission at SA Engineering College for B.Tech without the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) process. Candidates are admitted based on their eligibility criteria that are set by the college, namely passing the 10+2 (HSC Academic or equivalent) examination with the minimum required aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For OC, the minimum aggregate mark requirement is 45%.Moreover, the applicants who have achieved a 10+3 or 12+2 years Diploma or B.Sc. with Mathematics as a major subject can apply also. The minimum aggregate marks requirements in this case differ: 55% for OC, 50% for BC/B
