Yes, TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) is conducted specifically in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is an admission process for undergraduate engineering courses offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu. And students from other states can also apply for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). While the majority of seats are reserved for Tamil Nadu residents, a certain percentage of seats are also allotted for students from other states on the basis of merit. So, students from other states are eligible to apply for TNEA and compete for these seats.

At PRIST University, getting into their B.Tech program doesn't always mean you have to tackle the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) exam hoop. Instead, you've got a couple of avenues to explore. You can opt to take JEE Mains. The university accepts JEE scores and Rankings. If you are not interested in JEE,  PRIST has its Entrance Exam which is PEE. In any condition any of the above tests are necessary. Without entrance, you cannot join B.Tech.

Yes, Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) accepts TNEA scores for admission. The college has specific cutoff ranks for different branches of engineering based on the TNEA scores. For example, the cutoff rank for Computer Science and Engineering (SS) in 2021 was 195.02. Additionally, the closing ranks for B.Tech programs at TCE ranged between 924 and 10196 based on TNEA scores. It's important to check the specific cutoff ranks for the desired branch of engineering at TCE to determine eligibility for admission based on TNEA scores.

Yes, you can easily get admission into Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for B.Tech with 70% in TNEA. TNEA's full mark is 300 and scoring 210, which is 70% of 300, is sufficient enough to get admission. Last year's cut-off released by TNAU was 190-180 for the General category, 190-170 for BC, and 165 for the SC category. Although, the exact cut-off can differ depending on the average score that year.
