TNEA is online counseling based on 12th marks for admission in UG Engineering courses conducted by Anna University. So you can join Anna University without writing TNEA but after participation in counselling.

Yes, you might get direct admission at Kumaraguru college of technology if the rank is around 2000. You have to keep Kumaraguru college of technology as your first choice in TNEA councelling process. TNEA cutoffs are around 3092 to 27310th rank for general category students. 22146 to 67758th rank is for SC/ST category students approximately in 2023 majorly for Bachelor courses (B.Tech and B.E.). So, 2000 i guess is a good rank to get into Kumaraguru college of technology for Bachelor course.

No, there is no such facility for direct admission merely on the basis of TNEA rank in  Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology . The student will have to go through the other rounds as well followed by TNEA exam. You might be able to get through the counselling phase. If your score is excellent among the others. The cut off in Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology is approximately 39k or above so your admission chances are indeed high, but you'll have to go through all the stages.

No Its not possible to get into Hindusthan college without TNEA. Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology does not have any such provison in which the students can get admission without going through entrance test of TNEA. One needs to attempt TNEA if he/she aims to take admission in Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology's B.Tech course. But, yes for other courses like MBA/PGDM its TANCET MBA which is required. Also, for MCA its graduation with 50 percent along with TANCET which is mandatory.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at CIT Coimbatore has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 13235. In 2023, it increased to 17649. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 21706 to 22689 for OBC. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

CIT Coimbatore TNEA Round 1 cutoff for BTech in CSE was 1343 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at CIT Coimbatore. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the TNEA year-wise last round closing ranks for BTech in CSE programme:Course202120222023B.E. in Computer

CIT Coimbatore TNEA cutoff 2023 was released for several BTech specialisations, among which CSE was the most competitie one with a last round closing rank of 1764 for OBC category. For BTech at CIT Coimbatore, TNEA cutoff 2023 ranged between 1764 and 22689, so yes candidates with a rank of 2500 can definetly get into CIT Coimbatore. However, the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in TNEA, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
