TOEFL Centres

The only allowed document inside the test centre is your ID (valid passport for Indian citizens). ETS recommends that candidates bring their registration information, but it is not required for entry.

TOEFL test centres are located all over India providing candidates with multiple options for selecting their preferred exam center. Some of the top locations include - Allahabad,  Ahmedabad, Assam, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Dehradun,  Goa, Gwalior, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Hyderabad,  Jaipur, Ranchi, Mumbai, Vijayawada,  Visakhapatnam, Warangal, Srinagar and others.

Yes, strict restrictions apply. TOEFL test takers cannot bring:Electronic devices (phones, laptops, calculators, watches)Books, notes, study materialsFood or drinksBags (except transparent zip-lock bags for approved medications)Sharpeners, pens (only provided pencils and erasers allowed)

In most cases, TOEFL test takers who arrive late to their designated TOEFL test centre will be barred from taking the TOEFL test. Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the test start time for registration and security checks. If unavoidable delays occur, immediately inform the test center staff upon arrival. They will assess the situation and determine if late entry is possible, which might involve missing initial instructions or sections.
