For admission to a three-year BSc course in Nautical Science, candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Those who attain 60% aggregate in Class 12 in the Science stream are eligible to apply for this course. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Tolani Maritime Institute conducts Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test (TMI SAT), which is particularly conducted by the institute for admission to its BSc course. This course is offered in affiliation with IMU and after the completion of this course, students will receive a degree from IMU.
