Yes, it is definitely worth. MBA in any field you like can help you get the exposure and make you learn different things along with academics. There are job opportunities in this field but you need to search for the same. You can do this from some institute providing the same specialisation so that you can get the placements.

Basically for being a travel presenter you've to have prior knowledge about the traveling and the people you'll be going to meet. So in India we've Travel and Tourism Management courses in various colleges. For example : Amity University is also having course on this. There is no such exam needed to do B.A. in Tourism.
