The duration of a degree course is usually 3 to 4 years and the emphasis is on academics, whereas a Diploma course is a short term course (usually 1 to 2 years in duration) that focuses on training a person in a particular field.

Graduate in Aviation and Tourism can get you a ground job in almost any airline. You have an additional advantage of knowing French. So, you can also apply for Cabin Crew positions, where your knowledge of foreign language will help you to secure job and also to get to fly international sectors. Probably, those where French traffic is dominant.
Before you look to go abroad for any further studies do consider the probability of what the airlines look for. You should try career pages of various airlines to get a fair idea of what profile you should target.
